  How much does Camp cost?

Tuition rates are based on the grade you child is entering next fall. In addition, for campers age 3-5, we offer a 3, 4 or 5-day option. If you have any questions, please call the camp office at (732) 609-5357. We accept American Express, VISA, MasterCard, Discover or personal checks. Click here to see our Tuition Rates and Click here to Enroll Today!

As a reminder, day camp tuition is eligible for child care/dependent care reimbursement through your employer or as a straight deduction on your taxes. Most camp families take advantage of this and many pay less than 50% of their tuition out of pocket.

Is transportation included?

We keep camp tuition low by allowing parents to drop-off and pick-up at camp. Parent drop-off is from 8:25-8:40 am and pick-up is from 4:25-4:45 pm.

While transportation is not included, we do offer 3 options for an additional fee. All the options must be selected for your entire enrollment period. Click here for more info.

What is your staff to camper ratio?

At Cedar Brook we focus on keeping our groups small in combination with a mature staff. Children in pre-kindergarten through second grade have a 1:6 counselor to camper ratio and are in groups no larger than 10. As children grow older the groups remain small with a 1:8 supervision ratio. Campers are grouped based on grade they are entering in the fall. While Counselors In Training (CITs) are working with most groups, they are not counted in our supervision ratios.

rutgers-1How old are the counselors? Where do they come from?

All of our counselors and specialty instructors are supervised by certified teachers. The teachers meet with their staff throughout the day to observe, disseminate information and address any camper concerns. Our counselors and specialty instructors are college students or high school seniors. High school juniors are hired as junior counselors.

Is there a nurse or doctor at camp?

We always have a registered nurse on staff during the camp day in our Wellness Center. A pediatrician is on call.
