At Cedarbrook, we are committed to being an inclusive and inviting community for everyone. We are thrilled that our camp draws a diverse group of campers and staff from over 25 countries. Embracing diversity is at the heart of who we are.
We aim to celebrate diverse cultures, empowering our campers for success in a global society through enriched experiences.
“I can do things you cannot, you can do things I cannot; together we can do great things."
"We live now in a global village and we are in one single family. It’s our responsibility to bring friendship and love from all different places around the world and to live together in peace."
During our camp season, we dedicate a special day to honor "International Day". This is a wonderful opportunity for campers to delve into and discover more about the various aspects of their fellow campers' cultures. They can share a traditional song or dance, or dress in attire that represents their customs, ethnicity, and heritage. The main goal is to celebrate, appreciate, and embrace the diversity among ALL campers!
At Cedarbrook we realize that we’re all humans, despite differences in how we look or dress, or what we eat or celebrate. That's why our administrators, instructors, and staff practice and teach being ONE cohesive camp community!
