A Summer of Discovery for 1st and 2nd Graders Join us at Cedarbrook Day Camp, the premier camp experience for young Adventurers aged 6-8 near Edison, NJ! Our engaging program is tailored to capture the imaginations of our campers while fostering their development. Just like our beloved Munchkin program, our Adventurers initiative is designed to provide thrilling experiences that promote growth in various areas. We are proud to offer three beautiful campuses in Tranquility, Piscataway, and Somerset. Families have the flexibility to pick which location to go to, ensuring the most convenient and exciting summer possible.
The Adventurers Experience For the little Adventurers in 1st grade, we offer exciting challenges such as the Climbing Tower, Zipline, and Giant Swing, while keeping the cherished camp tradition of GAGA alive. As they transition into 2nd grade, we empower them with CHOICE, allowing them to select their preferred activity for the week. This encourages exploration and diversity in their camp experiences. Don’t worry about transportation! We’ve got you covered with provided pick-up and drop-off services for Edison families.
Adventurers Athletics Cedarbrook Day Camp has become a go-to destination for kids aged 6-8. Our athletic programs are expertly designed to meet the developmental needs of this age group. From adapted versions of classic sports played on smaller fields and courts to specially selected equipment, our camp fosters an environment where young campers can learn essential skills and experience success. Our team of Athletic Specialists is highly skilled in teaching new skills and structuring game time to effectively reinforce them.
Creative Arts & Expression Children aged 6-8 can immerse themselves in a wide range of artistic adventures! Led by experienced art instructors in comfortable studios, our camp offers an exciting array of activities such as Ceramics, Music, Science, Cooking, Drama, Nature exploration, Dance, and more. Our Adventurers Girl groups take center stage in our annual dance and drama extravaganza, a magnificent event complete with professional sound and lighting.
Learn to Swim For young Adventurers, learning to swim is a must. Our Learn-to-Swim Program is a highlight, loved by both kids and their parents. Our aquatic facilities cater to swimmers of all abilities. Our 40-minute swim lessons, led by certified instructors and supported by group counselors, are engaging and instructional. We focus on personalized guidance, making sure each swimmer progresses according to their skill level.
Ropes and Adventure Our engaging ropes courses are designed to enhance gross motor skills and cater to the spirited energy of young Adventurers. Our low ropes course is meticulously crafted for safety and provides an array of thrilling activities just inches above the ground. As campers grow in confidence, they eagerly tackle our Climbing Tower and Zipline.
