A Summer of Firsts For children ages 3-5, summer camp is a time of firsts—first swim lesson, first art project, first best friend. Cedarbrook Day Camp creates a supportive environment for these milestones. Serving the Franklin, NJ community, we provide a safe and exciting space for children to grow. We are proud to offer three beautiful campuses in Tranquility, Piscataway, and Somerset. You can pick which location to go to, giving you control over your summer logistics.
The Pioneers Difference Our Pioneers Program is designed with the developmental needs of preschoolers in mind. We offer small group sizes and high staff ratios to ensure that every child gets the attention they deserve. Our staff are nurturing and experienced, creating a home away from home for our campers.
Movement and Fun We believe in the power of play. Our athletics program introduces young children to sports in a fun, non-competitive way. We focus on developing gross motor skills and coordination through games and activities that keep children moving and smiling.
Creative Arts From dance to digital photography (simplified for little hands!), our arts program offers a wide range of creative outlets. Pioneers are encouraged to explore and experiment, building confidence in their creative abilities.
Low Ropes Challenge Our Low Ropes course is a favorite among our youngest campers. It offers age-appropriate challenges that help build physical strength and problem-solving skills. Completing the course gives children a huge sense of accomplishment.
Swim Confidence Our daily swim lessons are a key part of the Cedarbrook experience. We use a proven curriculum to teach water safety and swimming skills. Our pools are designed to be unintimidating for young children, helping them feel comfortable in the water.
Social Growth Camp is a great place to learn social skills. Our staff guides children through interactions with their peers, helping them learn to communicate, cooperate, and share. These skills are essential for success in school and life.
Transportation Made Easy We offer centralized transportation for Franklin families. Our buses are safe and comfortable, and our staff ensures that every child arrives at camp happy and ready for the day.
Pioneers Lunch Our lunch period is designed to be a relaxing break in the day. We eat early to avoid the rush, and our staff is there to help with everything from opening juice boxes to encouraging picky eaters.
