A Summer of Growth
Summer is a time for growth, and Cedarbrook Day Camp is the place to be for preschoolers. Serving the Byram, NJ community, our Pioneers Program offers a gentle introduction to camp life. We are proud to offer three beautiful campuses in Tranquility, Piscataway, and Somerset. You can pick which location to go to, giving you control over your summer logistics.
Experienced Care
Our program is led by experienced educators who understand the needs of young children. We provide a structured day with plenty of downtime. We help with everything from applying sunscreen to opening juice boxes.
Play-Based Learning
We believe that children learn best through play. Our activities are designed to be fun and educational. Whether digging in the sand or building with blocks, children are learning about the world around them.
Swim Instruction
Our swim program is tailored to young children. We start with water acclimation and move on to basic strokes. Our goal is to help every child feel safe and happy in the water.
Nature and Discovery
We take advantage of our beautiful campuses to introduce children to nature. We go on nature walks, look for butterflies, and plant seeds. These activities foster a sense of wonder and respect for the environment.
Building Independence
Camp is a great place for children to build independence. We encourage them to take care of their own belongings and make simple choices. These small steps lead to greater self-confidence.
Door-to-Door Transport
We offer centralized transportation for Byram families. Our friendly bus staff greet each child by name and ensure a safe ride to and from camp.
A Community of Friends
