Cedarbrook Day Camp simulates the spirit of a expensive sleepover camp.  The big difference being, your child returns home to you every day to sleep in their own bed!  Our camp is for campers (age 3 - 15) with all levels of camping experience and interests. Campers can participate in a variety of activities such as; swimming, gymnastics, basketball, archery, go-carts, hiking, waterfront play, water slides, fishing, canoeing, martial arts, arts & craft, game room, media production, dance, and culinary instruction (just to name a few)!

Cedarbrook has 2 campuses. Our Somerset Campus is located on 27-acres in Somerset & we also have a campus located in Sussex County on an expansive 306-acre property. Our Sussex Campus maintains large green fields, towering trees, and a beautiful lake, which is a unique feature for a day camp. Complete with state of the art facilities, Cedarbrook Campuses preserves the appearance of an overnight camp, while implementing a creatively robust day camp schedule.

Our camp allows kids to get away from screens and take time to learn new skills, have amazing adventures, and make friendships that will last a lifetime.

 

Many local camps disguise themselves as “Summer Camp”, when in fact they are nothing more than a “Summer Program”. Offering a variety of programs devoid of traditional summer camp activities such as hiking, fishing, canoeing, and a wide range of special events.

From the first day your child enters Cedarbrook, you’ll immediately feel at ease from the warmth of our staff and counselors. We want to create an exceptional experience for each child.  We take pride in our mature, talented staff of dedicated teachers and enthusiastic college students, many of whom were once Cedarbrook campers themselves. It’s easy to get excited about our great programming; but the greatest summertime adventures happen when our staff interacts with your child and fosters genuine relationships!

Our staff are trained by child development professionals and camping experts. Counselors help facilitate connections and meaningful friendships between campers and promise that each child will feel included and accepted in their group. We maintain an age-appropriate counselor to camper ratio in all groups.

 

Cedarbrook’s ultimate goal is to create for our campers a surreal summer camp environment and experience they will never forget! At Cedarbrook, the possibilities are endless. Your camper will go canoeing for the first time, learn how to do archery, ride go karts for the first time, paint their first picture, create their first lanyard, score their first goal in a soccer game, or make that jump shot they rarely make, learn new dance routines, catch a fish, bake cupcakes, learn to dive into the pool, hit a softball, go down the water slide… and then come back for more the next day!

Our exciting daily programming includes a variety of sports, arts, and aquatics activities, mixed in our unique special is specifically designed to be age-appropriate for each group of campers.  Our campers navigate their day by learning new skills, and accomplishing meaningful goals, all while developing their curiosity, creativity, and critical thinking.
